Here at Browns, we have the newest MOT test bay in Thame. Utilising this latest equipment, our qualified tester can quickly and effectively carry out the MOT test on your vehicle.

Once a vehicle is 3 years old, it requires a valid MOT test. This is mandatory every 12 months.

How long does an MOT test take?
An MOT test last approximately 1 hour and requires a booking slot.  We have a waiting room should you wish to wait while your vehicle is being tested.

How do I know if my MOT has expired?
You can check the current status of any vehicle online. You can check the expiry date of your MOT test for free, by clicking here.

Did you know that around a quarter of drivers forget to renew their MOT each year, with nearly a third of those more than 1 month late? Here at Browns we send out a FREE MOT reminder so you will never have to miss an MOT test again! This free automated reminder service tells you by email and/or SMS when your next MOT is due. Remember that you can have an MOT test completed up to one month before the expiry of your current certificate.
